Add 5 grams of the citric acid to the tube. Place a thermometer in the test tube by making sure the test tube is picked and clicking on the thermometer icon. Choose a Bunsen burner from the picture menu, and click and drag it under the test tube. Choose a Bunsen burner from the picture menu, and dick and drag it under the test tube. Allow the temperature to rise until the citric acid is melted. The temperature reached is the melting point. Repeat this with phenyl salicylate and sucrose. Repeat this process with water and also with ethanol. This time the temperature will rise, and the liquid will appear to boil.

Explanation / Answer

There are many factors effect to the boiling point ,mass is the one of major factor.I can't say what is the exact temperature,but I can say what shoud greater than.when we get boiling point in alcohol(ethanol),at that time boiling point should be low,because ethanol is highly evaporated liquid,when compared to water.

Other thing is mass high mass one's boiling point is high.
