However, it can be essily removed with another common household solvent ( fingernail polish remover ( ethyl acetate) what does this tell about the chemical composition of the glue? means polar molecule dissolves in polar solvent and non-polar one with non-polar one.
there is the same case for the glue which is made of polyvinyl acetae which has a non-polar moeity and water is the polar solvent but ethyl acetae contains acetate group and therefore glue dissolves in the fingernail polish remover ( ethyl acetate) but does not easy wash with water.
