Please help me out and please can you explain how you got it? It would help me better under stand it.Also please try to have clear hand writing. Thank you!

1) Which of the following solutions will produce a buffered system? A) 0.01M HF and o.12 M NaF B)0.10 M HF and 0.11 M HCl C)0.11 M HF and 0.11 M NaCl D)0.11 M LiOH and 0.12 M LiCl E)0.11 M HF and 0.12 M NaF F)0.11 M HNO3(three is under zero) and 0.12 M NaNO3(three is under zero)

2)Which of the following is false about a buffered solution? A)Buffered systems rely on weak acid or weak base B)a buffer contains a significant amount of a weak acid and its conjugate base C)A buffer can absorb a reasonable amountof either an acid or base with little effect on pH D)A buffered solution can be either acidic or basic E)A buffered solution remains unchanged when an acid or base is added F)Buffered systems rely on an equilibrium

3)Given PbF2 write the Ksp expression. What is the concentration of Pb^+2 in solution given the Ksp=2.69*10^-8

4)Given 55 ml of 0.16 M NH3 is added to 85 ml of 0.19 M HCl, what is the pH of the resulting solution?

5)Determine which of the following wouldhave the highest molar solubility? A)PbS B)PbCO3 C)AgBr D)AgCl E)Al(OH)3

6)Calculate the pH of a buffer that is 0.34 M HF and 0.28 M LiF. The Ka=6.31*10^-4

7)According to the solubility rules,lead(2) chromate is insoluble, yet the Ksp of lead(2) chromate 2.0*10^-14.Explain this contradiction

8)Identify the oxidation states of each of the elements in the following equation CO2(g)+H2(g) <=> CO(g)+H2O(g)

9)Use the common ion effect and LeChaelier's principle to predict whether the solubility of BaF2 will increase, decrease or remain the same on addition of Ba(NO3)2. Writethe chemical equilibriumand justify your answer.

10)Use LeChatelier'sprinciple to predict whether the solubility of Mg(OH)2 will increase, decrease or remain the same on addition of the following substances. Cirlcel one answer each A) HCl increase, decrease or remains the same B)Mg(No3)2 increase, decrease or remains the same C)KF increase, decrease or remains the same D) NaOH increase, decrease or remains the same

11)Use the 1/2 reaction method to balance the following chemical equation.clearly identify both the oxidation and reduction half reaction in your answer. Cr2O7^-2(aq)+Br^-(aq)->Cr^+3(aq)+Br2(aq) Oxidation: Reduction: Balance Equation:

12)From the following 4equations can you produce a spontaneous cell?Calculate the cell with the highest possible potential. Cl2(g)+2e^- ->2 Cl^-(aq) Na^+(aq) + e^- ->Na(s) Au^3+(aq)+3e^- -> Au(s) Cr^+3(aq)+3e^- ->Cr(s)

13)Distinguish between an n-type and a p-type semicinductor. A figure might help

14)Provide five properties that are advantages of Lithium batteries

Explanation / Answer

(1) Buffer solution is the one whihc is formed weak acid or base and its salt with strong base or acid.

So

(a) 0.01 M HF and 0.12 MNaF Can form a Buffer solution becuase, HF is weak acid and NaF is its salt with strong base, NaOH.

SImilarly (E) also form buffer solution.
