Explanation / Answer
The people having lowest income and least educated were most of the time unhealthy. Also the people having intermediate income and level of education were unhealthier than the wealthiest and the highly educated ones. There is a visible gradient pattern between the whites and the non Hispanics but this gradient pattern is not prominent in the Hispanics. In the United States there is a strong correlation pattern between the health and the socioeconomic and racial/ ethnic line. Worse health is reported among the socially disadvantaged groups.
Low treatment rates in minority population is due to the poor representation of the minority population in the healthcare workforce. For the treatment of mental health language barrier between patients and the doctors or nurses is important. Also there is a greater need for cultural sensitivity especially when dealing with mental health issues so diversity in health care will promote better care delivery.
