Regression equation based on regression result is below:

COSTELEC = 2128.73 + 0.0027 INCWAGE – 114.8 EDUC – 525.72 PACIFIC – O.113 HDD + 0.087 CDD

R-squared = 0.048 which means only 4.8% of variation in COSTELEC is explained by the independent variables. This makes the model a very poor fit.

Also, the individual variables can be interpreted on how they affect COSTELEC.

E.g.

When all variables are 0, COSTELEC = 2128.73

When INCWAGE increases by 1 unit, COSTELEC increases by 0.0027

Likewise all other variables can be interpreted.
