Now globalization and Americanization are not same concepts. Globalization is moving forward but not Americanization. Globalization refers to the more flow of goods, services, capital and human across world. It is occurring more than ever before. But Americanization is retreating. A single country can not provide leadership in contemporary world. Hence, American guided world order is crumbling. Other countries are not ready to take up the role of leadership. Emerging countries such as China, Russia, India have challenged the American led world order. These countries are easily vetoing initiatives of America where they are not agreed with.
Over the past, everywhere influences of American can be seen, but now America is losing game. Challenges in world are multitudes, hence, single country can not become leader to solve all of these. China is ready to provide leadership in economic sphere only. Likewise, Russia is offering leadership in Ukraine and Middle East. US is no longer interested in middle after energy revolution in its own territory. Presences of terrorism, refugee crisis, financial crisis are making US to retreat from global turmoil.
Present American president Trump does not want America to be leader in world. Hence, he is retreating from globalization and pulling back America from many world economic groupings. But Hillary Clinton still believes that America can be architect of world trade.
