Bob and Sue are a married couple in their 30s. They have been married for 4 1/2 years and have decided to start their family. They have been trying to become pregnant for 8 months and have not been successful. Each blames the other person and thinks that they are too stressed for it to happen. They have made an appointment with Sue's physician for an evaluation. What questions should be asked to better understand this couple's problem? Could relaxation help aid in conception? Should they consider alternatives to pregnancy and childbirth?

Explanation / Answer

1) The questions should be asked to them for better understanding are

2) Certainly the relaxation would help aid in conception because as stress decreases the chance of getting pregnant increases.

3) According to me I don't think so they should go for any alternative right now because it's just been 8 months since they have been trying. They should try more being relaxed and after that of it doesn't happen they should think about any alternative.
