Question
Hi Cramster Family & Friends,With the unemployment salary at an hourly rate of $7.25 do youbelieve that this helps our economy, does it hurt oureconomy? Should it be higher as there are other states andcountries that have a higher base salary for unemployment. Mybelief is that more should be paid as there are so many unemployedfamilies and friends in our economy, but where will we get theextra money to support so many individuals. Should theyextend the benefits past a certain amount of time. Shouldthey eliminate it all together? Where will our country be ifthey did not have unemployment. Your thoughts are greatlyappreciated and with best wishes, thank you for being here forme.
Sincerely,
Nettie
Explanation / Answer
From my view, the unemployment salary help to stable the social. Itensure the life of people when them was unemployed. However, italso got some disadvantage. First, the large amount of money paidfor unemployment people worse the deficit of government budget.Second, it maybe reduce the desire for people to find a job. Ahourly rate of $7.25 has the more effect on the negative side. Thisrate was quite high that lead some people like to stay asunemployed. This will affect the growth of the economics. Any stimulate process can be used easily to save and improve theeconomics. However, it will face problems when government try toquit out from it. For here, if the unemployment salary increase ina certain time, government will face problem when they try toreduce it back to a certain level. They might face some attack fromthe crowd. I dont think any politicians bear to face it. If the country dont have unemployment, that means the country wasin a fast growth. The social need lot of labor force and theproduction output was much.
