Do we live in a rape culture even though the United States prosecutes the act of rape? Yes, we do live in that type of society. People see so much of it on social media, the news, and in our schools. Unfortunately, many of these members of a community will turn their heads or not speak up about what is going on right in front of their face. "More than 40 percent of rape victims who didn’t report their attack said they feared reprisal by the attacker or other people" (Gustafson, 2013, p.310). This percentage is the way to high and tells how much the victims trust the law. The victims are more willing to confined to a friend then law enforcement.
There are no exceptions or rules when it comes to this type of situation. Having this kind of scene in video games is unnecessary and may encourage kids some kids to act upon when they see. The age group of these rapists is at about the same age of the ones playing these types of video games. Young people who are on their own for the first time going to college and they feel invisible. Unfortunately, this is something that will never change, but some can help prevent this from happening to others by saying something to the law and the law doing something about it.

Unfortunately we live in a society where there is increasing the number of rape and crimes. This is mainly because of the influence of the Internet and video games among young people. They are watching the unwanted items and try to experiment it. However, we can control such crimes by doing some effort. It should be start from home. Parents should have an eye on their children and screen time should be limited for any fixed time of the day. Also, parents should be a friend to their children and find time for an open talk everyday. So that the children will be strengths from inside and express their feelings and problems, doubt to their parents. Proper sex education by parents and teachers at right time also will be helpful. Growing spirituality at earlier age help them to live a peaceful life so that they will not go for such crimes. Media's like television, newspapers also can do their part by giving appropriate advertisement. Lastly, giving maximum punishment for such criminals will be a warning for others. In conclusion, the number of rape and crimes increasing day by day. But, it can be prevented up to some extent through education and communication.
