I am taking an organisation example in an healthcare sector which was once very popular but currently facing through bad period due to increase in market competition.

The implementation of mission statement or marketing strategy: The organisation developed strategies to focus specific on quality improvement of the test that is getting conducted on daily basis in lab and developing strategies to include test which can improve current market status for the company.

The development or the introduction of a new product or service: In order to sustain growing competition the organisation worked on the services which can help large group of people. They worked with molecular biology team to include new testing such as HPV testing by real time pcr method, detection of tuberculosis etc.

A merger with another healthcare entity: In order to grow the company the organisation tie up with hospital that works for a large group of patient and conduct major operation on a charity basis. By joining hands with such hospital has a potential to utilise again the market trust.

The diversification of its services and products offered: By joining hands with this hospital sample load increased drastically and even this organisation started providing quality service for patient within turn around time. As a result all different forms of test request started coming and organisation started making profit out of it.

The diversity of potentially outdated products or services: Certain test which were outdated again regain back due to collaberation with the new hospital. And as a result marketing those services again in the market brought back the lost product. Such strategies benefitted organisation again.
