Question
Microscopy is essential to the field of microbiology. The development of the technology over the years has gone hand in hand with the progression of our knowledge of the world of microorganisms. Increasingly more powerful and more specific tools are being developed to help us see things that in many cases we did not know even existed. What, in your opinion is the future of microscopy? What, in your opinion is the future of microscopy?Explanation / Answer
Future of microbiology: Microbiology is a very important field of biology. It consists of various techniques and knowledge over information which will be needed in future health care. Without the existence of microorganisms we would have not survived so far. There are many impacts which have created by the subject all around the world.
1. Diversification of microbiology - there are many types of microorganisms, for studying each of them individually different subjects have originated and diverge from original mother subject microbiology such as virology for viruses, bacteriology for bacteria, phycology for algae and mycology for fungi.
2. Immunologists will study the immune system in detail with the developing techniques and experimental procedures that protects our body from pathogens therefore more and more protection from complicated diseases like cancer , aids can be provided to patients.
3. Advancements in industries and industrial processes. Greater and better quality of products such as hormones, vitamins, amino acids, antibiotics, steroid, vaccines etc will be available.
4. Developments in genetic engineering so that easily available microorganisms can be used to important products such as amino acid, vitamins etc.
5. Usage of microorganisms to deliver better quality and quantity of food products such as cheese, yogurt, wine, beer etc.
6. Agriculture field of microbiology allows us to deliver good plant product, prevent fron disease.
