here is a little info about it

A converging lens (or convex lens) is curved on both sides. This means the light rays coming out of it come together at a point – they converge. so the convex lens is known as converging lens

here u = -14.5cm = 0.145m

f = 10 cm = 0,1m

as we know that for the convex lens

1 / f = 1 / v + 1 / u

1 / v = 1 / 0.1 + 1 / 0.145

= 16.8965

so v = 0.05918 m

here v is positive so the image of object will be right side of lens

so image is real

now we know that

ho / hi = - v / u

ho = (-v/u) hi

here (-v/u) is negative and hi is also positive

so the image ho = negative

so image will inverted

here M = ho / hi = negative

so image is demagnatised so image will smaller to the object
