Several objects andnut/clip units are arranged on a balance such that it balances. (The balance was balanced before the objects w-ere placed on it.) The black sphere on the right side has a mass of 4 nut/clip units. The sphere is moved 4 holes to the left (i.e., such that it is hanging one hole to the left of the fulcrum), and a new group of 2 nut/clip units is then hung at a single location in order to restore balance. this total change in trrque must be provided by new group
So change is 4*3 + 4*1 = 2*x
=> x = 16/2 = 8 unit
So location will be 2nd hole from right. because this is at 8 unit distance balancing point which we get from above calculations.
