Please write reflection of 200 words reflecting on and reviewing your work in this unit. Reflect on your academic growth from conducting research and writing your paper responding to the research question that you had chosen as your topic. What are you most proud of? What are some difficulties you encountered and areas that need work? Were you able to overcome them? How did that improve your research and writing skills?

Explanation / Answer
Through the various tasks, I have mastered the use of technology like never before. I learned to communicate via email to my instructor and my classmates. I learned to use the online library to access several research articles. I learned how to use the Internet and use various search engines as research vehicles, and how to evaluate the quality of the material I had collected. In addition, I learned to create my own web page and publish it on the Internet. The bulletin board of the class was also a new learning experience for me, as was participation in the chat room. Both modes of communication allowed me to see how a person can get to know someone without even meeting face to face. Something I once doubted. What was particularly interesting for me was the task of electronic publishing. It was there that I learned how to understand the original purpose of a document before I can edit it. Otherwise, the meaning may be somewhat altered from the original intention. These different forms of technical communication allowed me to participate by interacting with my class and my instructor, in what I now define as a learning community.
