Question

Could someone help me describe Maxwell's equations in words? Our professor told us that we should be able to describe them in words as he will ask us about them on the exam. Please help me explain their meanings in words.

Note: I asked the same question here yesterday and I didn't get a good answer. Please be clear and specific.

Here are the equations we should be able to describe their meanings in words:

EM fields, but the cull TABLE 7.2 Maxwell's Equations for Static Electric and Magnetic Fields Differential (or Point) Form Integral Fornm Remarks Gauss's law F-B=0 Nonexistence of magnetic monopole B·dS = 0 Conservative nature of electrostatic field 4H.dl = | J.ds Ampères law

Explanation / Answer

the set of maxwells equation is given for the medium not on air medium

1. the electrostatic field or flux density equal to the the volume charge present in any volume.

2.there is no monopole exists , if it exits it sould have divergent magnetic field from a single point , on otherwords if u take a bar magnet , the field lines , rhat is all convergent by itself

3.SINCE it is the equation for electro statics , no motion of chrged particle , hence the rotaional proprty of the charge become nill , hence if you find field variation at closed surface then it bacame zero

4.the change of magnetic field /density equal to the current density over surface ,, since no magnetic charge , this change of current can oly provide magnetic field
