Prove that white light contained no colors except white D. None of theseExplanation / Answer
B. Show that light was composed of different colored rays
Sir Newton was sure that all the different coloured rays he saw in nature were present in the sunlight. for which he experimented by placing prism in the path of sunlight which showed that white light of sunlight actually consists of different coloured rays combined together. to confirm he further added another prism in the path of dispersed sunlight rays which once again took the form of white light .
for this certainity that sunlight is actually consisting of different cloured rays he used prism.
