in Horizontal direction,

horizonatal distance, x = 22.5 m

hoironztal acc = 0 ( no acc in horizontal)

horizontal velocity, v0x = 11.5 cos31 = 9.86 m/s

time taken by soccer ball to reach golie,

t = x / v0x = 2.28 sec

in vertical,

v0y = 11.5 sin31 = 5.92 m/s

ay = - 9.8 m/s^2


vy = v0y + ay t = 5.92 - (9.8 x 2.28) = - 16.4 m/s


Speed = sqrt(vx^2 + vy^2)

= 19.2 m/s .........Ans
