Explanation / Answer

The rule is that if the wave is in the z direction, the Efield is in the x direction and the B field is in the ydirection. . So we can impose x y and z on NSEW and Up or Down. We get .    z isdownward          y isnorthward          x must be WEST . So the answer is   c   TOWARD THEWEST.
