I need some help with this problem. I can't seem to figureout how to get started on Work problems.

A block is launched up a frictionless ramp with initial speedv0. The block travels up the ramp and continues across alevel section.

List the forces exerted on the block after it has beenlaunched. Which do zero work? Which do non-zerowork?

Write an expression for the net work done on the block from thebottom to the top of the ramp.
The ramp makes an angle theta with the horizontal and is H metershigh.

Initial speed u = vo height h = H angle = distance along the incline S = H / sin work done by normal force W = 0 Since normal; foce and displacement are perpendicular to eachother work done by gravity W ' = - mg sin * S                                         = -mg sin * ( H / sin )                                        = -mgH net work done W " = W + W ' = -mgH
