Explanation / Answer
Charles' Law might be what you are lookingfor. Intrigued by the increasing poplarity ofhot air balloons, Charles and Gay-Lussac, two French scientists ofthe 1800's, conducted various experiments to discover therelationship between temperature and volume of a gas in a flexible container. They discovered that asthe temperature of a gas increases, the volume alsoincreases. As you cause thetemperature of the gas inside the balloon to rise, the volumeincreases. When the balloon is filled past its limit it willburst. As you cause thetemperature of the gas inside the balloon to rise, the volumeincreases. When the balloon is filled past its limit it willburst.
