a). Sequnce two is more favourable for beta strand. As it contains more bulky and branched amino acid residues.
b). The first sequence has more propensity to form ampipathic alpha helix.The reasons for this lies in a balance between enthalpic effects and conformational entropy. provided by the MALEK residues, alongwith favourable hydrophobicity of these residues,and the formation of favourable side-chain van der Waals alos plays an important role.
c). Sequence three will favour either of the two.
