Using the material you have learned, explain why you think this would make a good navigational device. What is the best shape for the spinning object at the center of the device, why? Since external torque is minimized, its orientation is neany fixed, regardless of any motion of the platform (spacecraft) so a wheel is the best shape for the device inside.
