If the producer level has 10,000 calories for the food web, how much energy is available of each of the next three levels? 4. and teutl = There is a large group of people who believe that a human population time bomb is ticking. What do you think the human population time bomb is? Do you think there is still time to defuse this bomb? Explain why or why not. 5.

Explanation / Answer

4. If every step energy is going 10% of previous level then in 1st level it is given 10,000.

2nd level it will be 1000(10/100 X 10,000).

3rd level it will be 100 (10/100 X 1000).

5. Human population time bomb means birth rate is more while death rate is less. So, resources of living is continuously consumed by increasing population. It may lead to hazardous effects like decreament in the living resources like food, water and even forests will disappear because of urbanization. Many food chains get affected as well as many plants and animals may get extinct.

To control this we need to take proper actions like use of contraceptive methods. Need to aware people about the harm of population explosion etc.
