Question

For the Op-Amp circuit, shown in figure (I): Find expressions for the Op-Amp output voltage (V_0) and the load current (i_L), as functions of V_s and the resistors network, assuming that the total load resistance is equal to R_l. find an expression for the range of R_L for linear operation Setting V_s = 1.5 V, choosing proper values for the resistors R_1 = R_3, and using a potentiometer for R_2, simulate the design of task (1) using parameter sweep analysis (both R_2 and R_L) to obtain the following currents for the specified range of the load 3 mA lessthanorequalto i_L lessthanorequalto 8 mA. when 100 omega lessthanorequalto R_L lessthanorequalto 200 omega, and 3 mA lessthanorequalto i_L

Explanation / Answer

First of all, The image is very hazy and -90 degree rotation needed.

Task1. Ans. Applying the concept of virtual ground, voltage at 'v-' is Vs.
Now applying KCL, at that point,
(V0-Vs)/R2 +(0-Vs)/R1 =0
=>V0=R2*(1/R1 +1/R2)*Vs

=>V0=(1+R2/R1)*Vs..........>The required relation for V0
Now, R3 and load resistance RL are in series.
Thus IL=V0/(R3+RL)
=>IL=(R3+RL)*(1+R2/R1)*Vs................>The required relation for IL.

For rest of the part i.e to find the range of RL, Please write clearly the give data about Rl as the picture is very hazy to understand.
