N turns of wire carrying current I are wound around a toroidal form having a rectangular cross-section. The magnetic field B = B(r)theta is in the circumferential direction as shown in the below figure. Below figure also shows the cross-section of the toroidal form. Using Ampere's law, find B(r) within the core. Find the magnetic flux = B(r) dA and the inductance L = N I. Using your results from part (a), determine the magnetic energy stored at different distance from the center uB(r). Using the results from part (c), integrate the total energy UB stored in the toroid. Using the relation UB = 1/2 LI2, verify your result in part (b).
