Question

We had to map equal potential field lines which were produced using two oppositely charged conductors placed in a conducting solution. We measured voltages at various places and had to find points with equal voltage/ equal potential.
I would need help with the related questions. PLEEEEAAAASE!!

1. What happens to a negative charge as it moves from positive test probe to the negative bar?
2.What could cause a negative charge to move from the positive test probe to teh negative bar?
3. Where would a positive test charge have least potential energy?

Thank you very very much!!!!!

Explanation / Answer

`1.the potential enegrgy would increase. 2. an externally applied forcce, or the potential difference. 3. it would have least PE at the negative probe.
