Question

Any help is appreciated points go to the best answer. Thanks.

The eclipses of the double lined binary are also observed. Below is photometry of the primary eclipse. Determine the radii of both stars. Are the radii consistent with the assumption made in problem 1 that they are both on the main sequence? If the radii are not consistent with main sequence stars what types of stars are they? If the stars are not main sequence stars as assumed in problem 1 will the distance be different? If it will be different, what is the distance to the binary?

Explanation / Answer

What is the problem 1??? I don't know and then moreover what are the assumptions that are made???
