Question
I know A and B and I just dont understand C and how to write a short paragraph explaining what would be interesting about choosing a distance larger or smaller than 0.75m.
A=23.7m
B=21.6 m/s
C=?
Explanation / Answer
part c)
According to sir Issac newton what goes up must come down and his laws describes as
S= ut+ 0.5at^2
now we have
s' = 0.75m
s' = 1/2 a't^2
t = sqrt( 2s'/a' ) ............................eq (1)
v = a' * t
a' = v / t ....................................eq (2)
(1) in (2) a' = v / sqrt( 2s'/a')
a' sqrt( 2s'/a') = v
a'^2 2s/a' = v^2
a = v^2 / 2s
a = ( 21.6 [m/s] )^2 / 2 * 0.75 [m]
a= 310.46 m/s^2
a= 310.5 m/s^2
that it for distance 0.75m
now a is propotional to 1/2s
so if s decreses than a will be higher
if s increases than acceleration will be higher as 1/2s'
