The two +2Q charges will point straight out from the square ( imagine that B and D are now pointing in the opposite directions, ex. B is pointing straight up and D is pointing straight to the left. ) They are pointing this way because positive charges always point out away from themselves. The +Q and -Q charges point at each other and since they have the same charge they end up cancelling each other out. What you are left with are the B and D components. Since they both have the same charge you take the direction to be inbetween the two. Hence the answer should be A, Make sense?
