For the first part

Assume this as a full adder circuit for your understanding.

1) For (Op2,Op1) as (0,1) => xi = 0, yi = ai , co = 1

Note: It seems that part c where (Op2,Op1) is (1,0) , co should be 0 instead of 1

2)For part 2

From the truth table we can see that and IC153 says that 00 corresponds to A0/B0, 01 to A1/B1, 10 to A2/B2 and 11 to A3/B3 and hence

A0 = ai ,A1 = 0, A2 = ai, A3 = bi

B0 = 1,B1 = ai, B2 = bi, B3 = ai

3) co as a function of op2 and op1 is co = op1 (Assuming part c answer is wrong (as it has to be wrong else there is no way of solving this question))
