So treat it to decrease BOD. , COD and solids concentration upto permit requirements and neutral pH.
Otherwise the organisms living in the stream will die.
Don't treat the water and pay to send it directly to a municipal waste water treatment plant.
If the treatment on site is not technically and economically feasible,then it can be sent to municipal waste water treatment plant.
