POTENTIAL HEALTH PROBLEMS IN THE CHILDHOOD YEARS USING FUNCTIONAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT AND ERICKSON'S STAGES OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT-
Helth problems based on Functional assessment includes-
1.Autonomy versus shame -child still crawling,over or under weight,costipation,possible injuries,muscle weakness,doubt own ability,overly dependent,resist to go to sleep,nightmares
2.Initiative versus guilt -slow to interact with others,withdrawn,becomes previously potty trained,unilateral muscle strenght,bilateral muscle weakness,inattentiveness,hyperactivity,impulsivity,sleep walking,sleep terrors
3.Industry versus inferiority-teeth decayed,bruising that is in different stages of healing,becomes previously potty trained ,difficulty in motor function,frequent falls,inattentiveness,hyperactivity,impulsivity,poor inadequate sleep,bedtime resistance
1.Trust versus mistrust (bith to 1 year) -Child develops mistrust on the mother and others when basic needs are unmet such as food,clean cloting,touch and comfort.this mistrust is predominant characteristic and leads to imbalance between trust and mistust.
2.Autonomy versus shame (1 to 3 years ) -will develop a sense of shame about themselves and doubt in their abilities with criticized expressions of autonomy.
3.Initiative versus guilt (3 to 6 years) - develops guilt and lack of purpose with constant criticism.
4.Industry versus inferiority(6 to 12 years) -develops inferiority when child cannot accomplish what is expected.
5.Identity versus confusion (12 to 18 years) -develops confusion who is unable to establish a meaningful definition of self .
