1. Toxin produced by bacteria is exotoxin(neurotoxin) which is produced intracellularly and appears only after the death and autolysis of cells. it is synthesized as progenitor toxin which is acted upon by trypsin and other proteolytic enzymes to release active toxin. Type A toxin was present as it was neutralised by type A antitoxin in mice. 2.
