Explanation / Answer

Answer:

Spectral flowcytometry is the advancement of the original conventional technique with the use of spectrograph and multichannel detector. The advantages is the use of fluorescent nanocrystals that have wide absorption bands and narrow emission bands along with detectors that are electronic with higher sensitivity. In addition, the side scatter light is collected into spectrograph and whole light is scattered that which is caught on high resolution detector. One of the main disadvantage in using using flow cytometer is the slower analyses rates.
