Theories are considered to be more stronger and reliable than the hypothesis because they are based on results of many experimentally tested hypothesis.

Hypothesis is not so much reliable because it only gives some idea about what's going to happen before the start of an experiment it's just a suggestion.

But under certain conditions the hypothesis can become theory too after so many researches and experimentations.
