Question
I'm trying to correct a midterm and I still don't understand this question. I think I am visualizing it right, but I'm not sure about the labled coordinates of bounds to use. i worked out the 3 different integrals on a seperate page but I'm pretty sure they are wrong. If someone could show what the integrals should be and some work on how you got there i think it would help alot in my understanding.
Thanks alot!
Let E be the solid inside the sphere x2 + y2 + z2 = 4, above the cone z = , and between the planes x = y and x = -y in the positive-x direction. Consider the integral E f(x. y, z)dV. Draw an accurate figure for the projection Dxy of E onto the xy-plane, labeling relevant points with their coordinates. It should be a two-dimensional figure. Write the integral as an iterated integral in spherical coordinates. Write the integral as an iterated integral in cylindrical coordinates. Write the integral as an iterated integral in rectangular coordinates.Explanation / Answer
