Explanation / Answer

Conglomerate is like a rock that is packed with many minerals and many rocks that are pretty existing and also contains a matrix to hold these all.

1. Formation of these conglomerates is a very big process. First the rock particles of various sizes settle at a place and then some cementing agent will enter into the spaces between the rocks. The cementing materials are usually silica or calcite or iron oxide.

When the pressure increases and any reaction takes place, the cementing material will hold all the particles which results in the formation of this conglomerate.

2. The conglomerate is found in many types of environments. They are found in the deeper, shallow and marine environments, in fluvial and also in the alluvial environments too.

3. They are found in the hills, mountains, lakes, river channels and many other places. They are seen in almost every place.

4. The grain size will make the rock look in different forms, the mineral content will change and the cementing material will change and all these changes makes the conglomerate form new structures.
