Question
There are three questions that drive solar system exploration:
where do we come from?
Where are we going?
Are we alone?
Think about these questions as you read this article( https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/first-active-hydrothermal-system-found-beyond-earth/ )Then, in your initial post write a short summary of the findings from the article and a paragraph on the implications of these findings.
For your second post, you must research current space exploration and write about what we are learning in the process. In your post, be sure to address the cost of space exploration and give your justification for limiting the research or expanding the research.
Explanation / Answer
The question which makes human species in general and various sapce exploration organistions like NASA in specific to persue various solar system exploration are the origin of life on earth, the future of life on earth and are we the only intelligent species that the dp space travel. For the answers of the above mentioned questions various organisation are trying their level by initaiting various exploration programmes on Mars, Jupiter’s Europa, Titan which is Saturn's largest moon. They have selected these heavenly bodies because they believe that they can get the very first answer from the Mars i.e. "From where do we come from" and for the answers of the remaing two question we are exploring moons of various planets. It is justificable to spend the money on these exploration projects as we human being are uncertain of our future on Earth and we the aswers of above mentioned questions to make other places habitable in the universe.
