Please explain the reasoning used in the following two videos. This is to check your understanding of the concepts. Please use examples from the clips to give reasons to whether or not the arguments used in the scenes follow along with deductive or inductive reasoning. Explanation / Answer
in one video "monty python deductive reasoning" the crowd has in general a conlclusion that the girl is a witch. As is the case with deductive reasoning that you have a conclusion and you bring out logic and proof to ultimately reach the intial conclusion. Like in the video they compare the girl with wood, then a duck , make her floating object then put her on a distorted scale and deduce her to be a witch.
In the other video " a few good men" , it is a case of inductive reason providing facts and logic that may or may not support the conclusion. Here it turns out that the logic applied supports the truth of the arguement
