In each match he chooses the right side. THat means he was successful in each chance.

Now the p - value to get 8 out of 8 correct is= 1/28 = 0.0039 or 0.004

so the p - value = 0.004

so its only 4 out of 1000 times probable that one can be 8 time successful in 8 guesses.
