Explanation / Answer

1. Movement of oceanic plates are divergence, convergence and lateral slipping. They move horizontally in sideway direction and vertically in up and down direction. their are three types of boundaries convergent boundaries, divergent boundaries and transform boundaries.

2. Mainly three types of rocks Igneous rocks, Sedimentary rocks, and metamorphic rocks. their are two types of mining techniques which surface mining and subsurface mining. Types of surface mining Open pit mining, quarrying and strip mining. Geological hazardous is a type of natural hazardous in earth's crust which damageg or affects life and property. for example tsunami, earthquake etc.

3. Climate and Weather- The weather conditions experienced in any location over long term. Climate depends upon lattitude, altitude and continentality. weather is total sum of the atmospheric condition in terms of temperatur, pressure, wind, moisture, cloudinss, precipitation and visibility of particular place at any given time. (reference indian writter)

Albedo- it is the reflecting power of surface. it uses of short wave radiation. light coloured surfaces such as ice have high albedo.

High pressure and Low pressure- High pressure means the pressure is above the average pressure in atmospheric condition. for example Anticyclone created in high pressure region. Low pressure is just opposite to high pressure. low pressure indicate depression.

The Coriolis effect- However, the earth rotates and this causes air moving higher to lower pressure in northern hemisphere to the deflected to the right until a balance is achieved between the pressure gradient force and deflecting force due to the rotation of the earth. This is known as coriolis effect. it causes to air flow in clockwise direction around an anticyclone or high pressure area, and in anticlockwise around a depression or low pressure area.

Jetr stream- it is a high altitude wind blowing at approximately 9-15 km above the earth surface. it occur in various lattitudes.

Ocean current- It is a continuous movement of ocean water from one place to another place. It is done by wind. temperature of water, salinity, and moon's gravity.

warm front and cold front- warm front is a narrow zone of transition between relatively warm air that is advancing and relatively cool air that is retrating. Cold front is the interface between an advancing cold air mass and a retreating warm air mass.

Tropical cyclone- it is a type of cyclone which generated in tropical oceans. these cyclone are classified as : wind up to 34 knots, tropical depression; wind from 35 to 64 Knots, tropical strom; wind 65 Knots or greater, hurricane in Atlantic ocean or typhone in Pacific ocean.

Tornadoes- it is a whirlwind circling a small diameter, often of less than 500 m. It is an area of intense strong upward air current. It causes several structural and other damageg.

Milankovitch cycle- It tells about the position of earth relative to the sun. As earth goes through the regular variation in its position relative to the sun. Series of ice age during Pleistocene.

greenhouse gases- The greenhouse gases are those gases which contribute in greenhouse effects. for example are carbon dioxide, CFC, water vapour, nitrous oxide etc.

Ice cores- It is a types of core that is removed from thick ice sheet and high mountain glaciers.

4. Natural source of air pollution are salt spray, volcanic eruption, fog and mist, radon, ozone , ash etc.

Air pollution due to human are deforstation, industrilisation, vechicle smoke etc. Due to deforestation it directly affets our climate in which season are change and also affect on rain. Due to industrilisation their pollutant gas contaminated our environment, water, soil. It increaes our temperature which also effects our climate.

Global warming is a major problems for our environment today. For the global warming solution we have to awake people about this. we have to try to stop deforestation try to grow more and more plants. we have to try industrial smoke dont escape in open environment we have to minimize their smoke les and less. we try to control greenhouse gaes which is most important reason for global warming. we have to use less cumbustible and less smoke fuel in vechicle. Their are also lots of solution for global warming.

Their are many types of pollutants which are population increment, deforstation, increasing industries and vechile day by day, increasing green house gases etc. Major types of of pollutants are Air pollutants, Soil pollutants, Noise pollutant, Water pollutants.

6) All water occurring beneath the ground surface is called GROUNDWATER.

Permeable rockformation which store groundwater and transmit sufficient quantity of it to a pumping well are called aquifer.

The water which is on the surface of the earth are called surface water. Watershed is an area or it is a type of ridge of land that seperate water flowing to many rivers, sea or any water souce on the surface.

Water scarcity is a type of fresh water resource lack for water demand. In water stress water demand is exceeded than the available water during a certain time.

Dam is a barriers which are constructed across rivers to store water. It build mainly to control flood, for irrigation, for generating electricity etc.
