Question
I have an exam tomorrow and I am STUCK. It uses a table in the book for Area Under the Normal Curve so if you do not know the numbers that is okay; if the explanation of the steps is clear enough I should be able to figure it out.
The question is as follows:
Compute the following probability for a normally distributed variable x, assuming that the mean value =6 and the standard deviation =3.
Find a value of c such that P(-1<x<c)=.5228
I have tried it a few times but the number I get does not make any sense! Please help!
