I need some help with a math problem. Please explain fully, just showing numbers is not enough!

Table 2-8 show the distribution function of a random variable X. Determine (a) the probability function (in a table), (b) P(1 <= X <= 3) (c) P(X >= 2), (d) P(X < 3), (e) P(X > 1.4).

Table 2.8 (Sorry for bad drawaing, but I think it can be understood).

Please show me how to arrive at the answers!
