I need to develop a MAPLE or MatLab app concerning putting circular chimneys through roofs. There are two parameters of interest. The slope of the roof m, and the diameter of the chimney d. The program would need to explain to carpenters how to cut a hole in a roof give these two paramters. Develop a MAPLE or MatLab app that would allow them to:

1) input these two parameters of interest

2) see a visual graph in 3D depicting the roof and chimney

3) see the pattern they need to cut into the roof (2D graph of the intersection)
