In the ancient world due to the Neolithic Revolution around 7500 BCE in Mesopotamia lead to the development of the following cities Eridu, Uruk, and Ur. With the advancements in the agriculture, people learn to cultivate leading a stable supply of food grains, this changed the lives of peoples this converted them into producers compare to the there earlier life of hunters. They built permanent houses using natural resources and were able to have larger harvests, this resulted in them to began with other crafts such as weaving or making pots etc. They also started raising animals like horse and goats. With ample supply of the food grain, there was a rapid growth in the population paving ways for other people to started trade with each other leading to the development of commerce, with the development in trade writing languages, also emerged leading to the development of art and music. As there was an increase in the population the size of the early settlement increased in size leading to the development of larger cities. In order to function all the operations properly, governance came into existence. As the cites grow there were occupations of conflicts in order to maintain the safety of the cities army was required to protect them from external threads this lead to the development of armed forces.
