College Algebra problem. PLEASE SHOW ALL WORK (DO NOT skip or combine steps and please explain what you're doing). I know the answer (it's provided with the question). I don't know how to solve the problem to arrive at that answer so I need to see ALL of the steps for arriving at the answer provided. Please TYPE your answers. I have a very hard time reading handwriting, especially if it's been scanned into the computer.

3x -2y =14

Solve by eleimnation of variables:

multiply equation 1 by 3 and equation 2 by 2 :

6x +9y = 15

6x -4y = 28

13y = -13

y = -1

solve for x: 2x = 5-3y

2x = 5 - 3(-1)

x = 4

Product x*y = -1*4 = -4
