I need some help coming up with a topic for my statistics essay. I have to find a media/news article that highlights a study or association of variables being linked (p-hacked or not) and then find a peer review journal that will provide evidence (either for or against the media article). I am having a hard time finding peer reviews for the topics I choose and keep starting over. I would appreciate any ideas that might come to mind. I was searching for cognitive effects in children with epilepsy, artificial coloring triggering seizures or behavior issues, fraternal twins and genetics. I think I need to choose a more narrow topic. An example would be media news "Coffee is linked to weight loss" and a peer review that supports or rejects it. Any ideas?
