Question
I can do the synthetic division, but I cannot figure out howto do these next two problems!! Thanks for the help.... 1) Find a polynomial of lowest degree, in standard form, thathas zeros 3,-2 and 1. 2) Find a polynomial of lowest degree, in standard form, thathas zeros 0,0, i, -i I can do the synthetic division, but I cannot figure out howto do these next two problems!! Thanks for the help.... 1) Find a polynomial of lowest degree, in standard form, thathas zeros 3,-2 and 1. 2) Find a polynomial of lowest degree, in standard form, thathas zeros 0,0, i, -iExplanation / Answer
1) follow this method for number 2 also :(x-3)(x+2)(x-1)=0.......now multiply the factors to find thepoly :
(x2-x-6) (x-1)=0 :
x3-x2-x2+x-6x+6=0----->x3-2x2-5x+6=0 :
for 2) (x-0)(x-0)(x-i)(x+i) and multiply it out :
for 2) (x-0)(x-0)(x-i)(x+i) and multiply it out
