Question

Part 3 (Individual) Each member of the group should answer questions 1 through 7 of Part 2 for the worth function w(x) 50 30x for one of the trapezoidal lots described below. Member 1 Frontage 200 feet, one side is perpendicular to the front with length 100 feet, the rear side is parallel to the front with length 320 feet, the fourth side is a straight line. Member 2 Frontage 200 feet, one side is perpendicular to the front with length 100 feet, the rear side is parallel to the front with length 75 feet, the fourth side is a straight line. Member 3 Frontage 90 feet, one side is perpendicular to the front with length 100 feet, the rear side is parallel to the front with length 120 feet, the fourth side is a straight line. Bonus. Also answer for w(x) $50e .03x per square foot

Explanation / Answer

Part 3 :

Worth function determines value of the lot as the question says.

The way I have calculate area is (Frontage+Perpedicular length)*Parallel length, sq.ft.

Member 1: Area of the lot is (200+100)ft*320 ft = 96000 sq.ft

Member 2 : Area of the lot is (200+100)*75 sq.ft = 22500 sq.ft

Member 3 : Area of the lot is (90+100)*120 sq.ft = 22800 sq.ft
