1. a) At intercept on vertical axis t=0. So the intercept on vertical axis = V(0) = 23000.
At intercept on horizontal axis V(t) = 0. That is -1500t + 23000 = 0. Thus t = -23000/-1500 = 15.333. So horizontal-intercept is on 15.33.

2) The vertical-intercept represent the value of the ford focuz at time t=0. That is, it represent the value at which the ford focuz is purchased. In other words it is the cost of a brand new vehicle.
The horizontal-intercept represent the time at which the cost of ford focuz becomes zero. It is 15.333 years, that is 15 years and 4 months after the purchase of ford fouz it's value will become zero.

3) The slope of the equation is -1500.
